The study of quantum and relativistic plasma dynamics in high-intensity laser–matter interaction explores how ultra-intense laser fields fundamentally transform the behaviour of matter under extreme conditions. When laser intensities exceed , electrons attain relativistic velocities, leading to nonlinear effects such as self-focusing, harmonic generation, and wakefield acceleration.
